RBO → LBI. A skater who rotates the other way traces LBO: the same element, generated from this one.

shoulder to hip —on the —
right back outside edge inside, the left foot crossing in front onto its back inside edge, three times. Negative twist means the shoulders are held back against the hips, which stores rotation before a takeoff and checks it on a landing.

Backwards, the free foot crossing over and going down on the inside edge of the other foot, on the same circle. Every backward entry in the guide starts with these, so they deserve more attention than their difficulty suggests.

The common fault is turning the shoulders into the circle to help. It does help, briefly, and then there is no rotation left to check with when the crossovers stop and the element starts. Keep the shoulders square to the circle and let the feet do it.

Derived

RBO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, backwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RBO crossover to LBI: the skater steps onto the other foot, the direction of travel does not change, and the lobe continues.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LBO. Same element, mirrored.
