outside edge: the paler lineinside edge: the darker line
RBO → LFI. A skater who rotates the other way traces LBO: the same element, generated from this one.

Backwards on the outside edge, stepping onto the other foot to run forwards on its inside edge, on a new lobe curving the other way. Entering blind and reversing the curve at the same time, which puts this among the harder things in the guide.

The step has to be made from a genuine edge. A shallow back outside entry gives the new lobe nothing to reverse from, and what comes out is two flats with a change of foot in the middle.

Derived

RBO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, backwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RBO choctaw to LFI: the skater steps onto the other foot, the edge changes, and the lobe reverses. There is no cusp, because nothing pivots.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LBO. Same element, mirrored.
