LBI → LBO. A skater who rotates the other way traces RBI: the same element, generated from this one.

Backwards from the inside edge to the outside, the lobe reversing. The weakest entry edge rolling onto the strongest exit, which makes this more useful than it looks: it is the cheapest way of getting from a back inside edge to a checked back outside one.

The whole move lives in the ankle and the hip. If the shoulders join in, you have started a turn instead.

Derived

LBI is three letters (foot, direction, edge): left foot, backwards, inside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

LBI change of edge to LBO: the blade rolls from one edge to the other without pivoting, the direction of travel does not change, and the lobe reverses.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from RBI. Same element, mirrored.
