RFI → RBO. A skater who rotates the other way traces LFI: the same element, generated from this one.

shoulder to hip —on the —
RFI · the blade turning half a circle against the curve, the cusp pointing out · RBO. Negative twist means the shoulders are held back against the hips, which stores rotation before a takeoff and checks it on a landing.

Forwards on the inside edge, rotating away from the circle, out backwards on the outside edge. The exit is the good one (a checked back outside edge), and that makes this a turn worth having even though the rotation fights you all the way in.

The common failure is turning early. Rotating against the curve is hard work, so the body starts before the edge is ready and the blade scrapes round where it should cut a clean cusp. If you can hear the turn, it went early.

Derived

RFI is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, forwards, inside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RFI bracket to RBO: the edge changes, the skater rotates against it, and the lobe continues.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LFI. Same element, mirrored.
