RBI → RFO → RBI → LFI. A skater who rotates the other way traces LBI: the same element, generated from this one.

Two three turns from a backward entry, then a step onto the other foot. Backwards you cannot watch either turn arrive, and the step lands at the point where you have least information about where you are.

Judge it by the exit edge. A double three turn that has drifted leaves the mohawk on a lobe it was not aiming at, and the new foot then goes down on a curve that does not match the one the body is still leaning into. That mismatch is what makes a good double and a poor cluster look so different from the side.

Derived

RBI is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, backwards, inside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RBI, three turn to RFO, then three turn to RBI, then mohawk to LFI. 3 turns on two feet, and the skater finishes on LFI.

Nothing above is stored on this page. The cluster records its entry edge and the order of its turns; every edge in between is chained out of the same rule that draws a single turn.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LBI. Same element, mirrored.
