outside edge: the paler line
LBO → RBO. A skater who rotates the other way traces RBO: the same element, generated from this one.

Backwards, the free foot passing the skating foot and taking its own outside edge, the lobe reversing at the change. Blind, and the new lean has to be committed to before there is any evidence it will be caught.

Watch the shoulders. The reversal wants to be led from the hips with the shoulders following; led from the shoulders it becomes a lurch, and the tracing shows two lobes with a straight line between them where there should be one continuous roll.

Derived

LBO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): left foot, backwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

LBO cross roll to RBO: the skater steps onto the other foot, the direction of travel does not change, and the lobe reverses.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from RBO. Same element, mirrored.
