inside edge: the darker line
RFI. A skater who rotates the other way traces LFI: the same element, generated from this one.

Forwards with the skate rolling towards the big-toe side, leaning into a circle that curves the other way. It usually feels more secure than an outside edge, because the free leg swings on the outside of the circle where there is room for it.

Holding it deep is the harder half. The free hip wants to open, and the moment it does the lobe flattens out. Most of the work is on the free side of the body: the hip that wants to open and the leg that swings with it.

Derived

RFI is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, forwards, inside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RFI traces an anticlockwise lobe seen from above the ice. Change any one of the three letters and it curves the other way; change two and it curves the same way again.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LFI. Same element, mirrored.
