LBO → LFI → LBO → LFI. A skater who rotates the other way traces RBO: the same element, generated from this one.

Three three turns on one foot from a backward entry, which is where checking stops being optional. You cannot see any of them arrive, so each check has to be released on feel alone, twice, without pausing.

Speed is what runs out. A backward entry has less of it to start with and every turn takes some, so a skater who enters at a comfortable pace is standing still by the third and turning on a flat. Enter faster than feels sensible; there is nowhere to add it later.

Derived

LBO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): left foot, backwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

LBO, three turn to LFI, then three turn to LBO, then three turn to LFI. 3 turns on one foot, and the skater finishes on LFI.

Nothing above is stored on this page. The cluster records its entry edge and the order of its turns; every edge in between is chained out of the same rule that draws a single turn.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from RBO. Same element, mirrored.
