outside edge: the paler line
RFO → RBO. A skater who rotates the other way traces LFO: the same element, generated from this one.

Forwards on the outside edge, rotating into the circle exactly as a three turn does. Then the edge does not change, so the lobe has to. You leave the circle you were on and pick up a new one curving the other way.

That is the whole reason the turn exists as a separate thing. The rotation is a three turn’s rotation; the destination is somewhere else entirely.

Derived

RFO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, forwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RFO rocker to RBO: the edge holds, the skater rotates into the circle, and the lobe reverses.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LFO. Same element, mirrored.
