outside edge: the paler line
LFO → LFO. A skater who rotates the other way traces RFO: the same element, generated from this one.

Two rotations on a forward outside edge, out on the edge it began on. Two curls in the tracing, evenly spaced, and no cusp between them. That spacing is the element. Uneven curls mean the rotation was found once and then found again, which is two twizzles in a row.

Holding the edge for twice as long is what doubles the difficulty; the second rotation on its own adds less. Everything a single twizzle lets you get away with, this one charges for.

Derived

LFO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): left foot, forwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

LFO double twizzle to LFO: 2 rotations on one foot, travelling, leaving 2 curls in the tracing and no cusp anywhere. The lobe continues, because a curl cannot curve against itself.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from RFO. Same element, mirrored.
