RBO → RFO → LBI. A skater who rotates the other way traces LBO: the same element, generated from this one.

A rocker from a backward edge into a choctaw. The lobe reverses at the rocker and reverses again at the step, so the skater finishes curving the way they started while having crossed the ice.

The choctaw is the harder half. Changing foot and lean at the same instant is difficult from a settled edge and worse from one you have just turned onto, and hesitation shows as a flat between the two lobes.

Derived

RBO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, backwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RBO, rocker to RFO, then choctaw to LBI. 2 turns on two feet, and the skater finishes on LBI.

Nothing above is stored on this page. The cluster records its entry edge and the order of its turns; every edge in between is chained out of the same rule that draws a single turn.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LBO. Same element, mirrored.
