Two and a half rotations from a forward outside entry: two curls in the tracing and then a half that has to be produced out of whatever rotation is left. The count decides which way you are facing at the end, and everything about the exit follows from that.
Rotation is cheapest at the beginning and this asks for the awkward part last. A skater with enough for a double and no more finishes the second curl, runs out, and steps the last half round. That is a double twizzle with a turn stuck on the back of it, and it looks exactly like one.
Derived
LFO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): left foot, forwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.
LFO 2½ twizzle to LBI: 2½ rotations on one foot, travelling, leaving 2 curls in the tracing and no cusp anywhere. The lobe continues, and the half rotation turns the skater to face the other way, which is why the edge letter changes without the blade ever changing which way it curves.
A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from RFO. Same element, mirrored.
