RFO → RBI → RBO → RBO. A skater who rotates the other way traces LFO: the same element, generated from this one.

Three different things on one foot with no step anywhere in them: a three turn, then the blade rolling to the other edge, then two rotations. The change of edge in the middle is the quiet part and the part that decides it.

A change of edge has nothing to see (no cusp, no pivot, no break in the tracing), so it is where a skater can arrive at the twizzle on the wrong edge without anything having looked wrong. The twizzle then unwinds, and the fault is two elements upstream. Skate the roll deliberately, and do not let the turn’s exit drift into it.

Derived

RFO is three letters (foot, direction, edge): right foot, forwards, outside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.

RFO, three turn to RBI, then change of edge to RBO, then double twizzle to RBO. 3 turns on one foot, and the skater finishes on RBO.

Nothing above is stored on this page. The cluster records its entry edge and the order of its turns; every edge in between is chained out of the same rule that draws a single turn.

A skater who rotates the other way does the same thing from LFO. Same element, mirrored.
