The two turns that keep their edge, back to back on the same foot. One of them goes with the curve and the other fights it, so the cluster asks the skater to turn one way and then the other with nothing in between except the edge they are already on.
The body check between them is the first objective, and everything else here depends on it. Coming out of the rocker the skater is rotating with the new lobe; the counter needs them wound the other way before it can start. There is no step to do that on, so the check has to both stop the first rotation and set up the second, and it is the one movement in Skills 7 that most clearly separates skaters who turn with their feet from skaters who turn with their body.
A cross roll is added to the end on the second side, and it tests whether anything is left. It needs a free hip and a swing, and it comes immediately after two turns that both wanted the body held still.
