LFO takeoff · half rotation · RBO landing, held · toe loop: off the pick, one rotation · RBO landing. Negative twist means the shoulders are held back against the hips, which stores rotation before a takeoff and checks it on a landing.

The waltz jump is often the first jump a skater puts in front of another. Its half turn lands on the same back outside edge as almost every jump here, an edge the skater has already practised.

The waltz jump lands RBO and the toe loop takes off from RBO: one edge, held, with no step or turn on it. In a jump sequence the skater may hop or step between the jumps; in a combination there is nothing between them.

The toe loop is the usual second jump. The landing edge is already its takeoff, so the free foot reaches back, the toe goes in behind, and the pick gives the lift that the remaining speed cannot.

Derived

The waltz jump takes off LFO off the edge and lands RBO; the toe loop takes off from that same edge off the pick and lands RBO. 1.5 rotations in all. The waltz jump has no ISU code.

Made of the waltz jump and the toe loop. Nothing here is stored on the page beyond the two jumps and the count.

A skater who rotates clockwise takes off RFO and lands on LBO: the same combination, mirrored.
