Everything in the Kilian hold, mirrored. Both partners face the same way and skate the same direction, with the follow at the lead’s left and slightly ahead. The follow’s right arm reaches across in front of the lead to the lead’s right hand, and the lead’s left arm goes behind the follow’s back, both left hands clasped over the follow’s left hip.
In U.S. Figure Skating’s rulebook, the lead’s leading hand in a reversed hold is the left, where in an ordinary hold it is the right.
The Canasta Tango is skated in it throughout, and the Fiesta Tango, the Westminster Waltz and the Tango Romantica change between it and the Kilian hold during the pattern.
