Double flip
LBI takeoff, off the pick, 2 rotations to RBO.
Also called 2F. Other names.

The flip with a second turn. The back inside edge, the pick placed behind and the vault are the single’s, and so is the rule that matters most: the rotation goes with the curve you are on.
The pull-in comes straight off the pick, arms and legs tight, because two turns in the time of one leave nothing to spare. A double flip that turns early usually began turning in the three turn that delivers it, before the pick went in.
It shares its takeoff edge with the double Salchow, and the pick tells them apart. It is also the double Lutz’s near neighbour: a Lutz that rolls onto the inside edge before the takeoff is a flip, which is why both jumps can carry an edge call on a protocol sheet.
Derived
LBI is three letters (foot, direction, edge): left foot, backwards, inside edge. Every edge in the guide is written that way, so RBI is a right foot travelling backwards on an inside edge.
Takes off LBI and lands RBO, the same edge every jump in this guide but the Euler lands on, so the takeoff is what tells them apart. The toe pick provides the vault.
Shares its takeoff edge with the double Salchow: the pair that get mistaken for each other.
The flip with one more turn in the air: the same takeoff and the same landing.
Lands on RBO, where the toe loop and the loop take off, so it can start a combination: double flip + double toe loop or double flip + double loop.
Takes off from LBI, where the Euler lands, so it can come third in a combination with an Euler in the middle.
A skater who rotates clockwise takes off RBI and lands LBO: the same jump, mirrored.
